That logo won't do

Hi, I saw File:Turkish Wiki logo.png... I appreciate your effort, but logos for wikis are not 480x360, nor are they screenshots of Scratch backdrops. I see that you tried to include all the countries that speak Turkish in your logo, but that went far too wide. I recommend you instead include them the way that the DACH wiki does, of course with the correct flags. But no matter what, a 480x360 logo is not the way to go; please change it. (The resolution I recommend is 135x135, to match the other wikis, but that's not a hard requirement - just make sure it would fit in the same place that the Test wiki's logo fits now.)

Get help

Hi, I really appreciate all your work translating into Turkish! The Turkish wiki is the most active one since the French wiki, and that one became a real wiki :)

But for a wiki to become real, it also needs a community. I recommend you start advertising the Turkish wiki on your profile (by linking to it, not just mentioning it) and on the forums. If there's anything I can do to help advertise, I'll gladly do that as well. Make sure to get a good number of people to help you - a Wiki is not a one-person job! I recommend at least 2 or 3 more people, and I also recommend that you keep trying to get more people to help, since inevitably some people become inactive.

Again, I appreciate your enthusiasm!

I know,but nobody wants to join to the Wiki,users are inactive(Example: User:Kahve;I sent a message in Scratch,he said "I will come back" but he's still inactive) or their English are weak(IP ban section).I'm helping them,but isn't working;they are losing enthusiasm.I should change something in forums,I think.I added link to my forum signature and my user page in Scratch.I hate nobody wants to join to the Wiki,but I haven't found a solution yet.Thanks for post.

Linking in your signature and profile page is a good start! If it's difficult, don't worry too much about it - just make sure to remind people to join if they're interested. Do you have any friends who use Scratch? You might consider getting them to help as well.

Remember to translate namespace names

For pages that start with "Tur:Scratch Wiki:" or "Tur:Scratch Wiki talk:" I recommend you translate everything past the "Tur:". For example, if "wiki" in Turkish is "viki" (it's not) and "talk" is "diskussion" (it's not), the pages should start with "Tur:Scratch Viki" or "Tur:Scratch Viki diskussion". Makes sense?

I understood.I'm sorry,I thought like "Wiki standarts are working in every language."I must change something because;for example,"w" don't use in Turkish-using "v"-,"talk" is "konuşma" in Turkish-I'm not sure,I should look at mean-,Category is "Kategori".Thanks for help.

Note:

I have a question about "template:":How can I translate "template:" because it's about the Wiki's codes,I guess. I'm really bad at wikitext(I'm beginner in Wikitext and C++.I didn't know what are CSS,JS and HTML 2-3 months ago )

Templates are translated at Template:Tur/(template name). For example, Template:Shortcut should be translated as Template:Tur/kısayol. Note that you don't need the :Eng: part at the top for templates.

The S in S:SHORTCUT

For your information, the S in S:SHORTCUTs stands for "Scratch Wiki" and not "Shortcut". (On Wikipedia, shortcuts are prefixed "WP:".) Unless "Scratch Wiki" in Turkish starts with a K, I recommend you switch to "S:". :)

You don't need to worry about bot shortcuts

Hi, I saw you translated some of the "Bot shortcut" pages and shortcut names... you don't need to worry about it because bots only exist on the English wiki. FYI :)

Also, where do you get the time to do all this? Thank you for continuing to be so active :D

You can test it in your common.js file. Do you need help understanding the code? For the sliding thing, I used the gallery tag as seen here: <gallery mode="slideshow"></gallery>. Here is an example: User:Jakel181/Sandbox . To translate the header, you have to translate this file. Do you have a GitHub account? If not that is fine. :) Also what do you mean by category subject? Can you show me where you are seeing it?

Hello, looks like you have already done the first one before me before me. About the second question: You can create a template simply by typing out Template:(Language name)/(Template name in your language) to the search button and then clicking to red link.

@Purvitekriwal: it got fixed after adding __TOC__ and then replacing | in the pages. I guess that you have confused the "danda" (I searched the vertical-like character and that's what Google says to me) with the vertical line, so removing and adding vertical lines to the template fixed the issue. The software only recognizes the vertical line as the special character, and even though the danda character looks similar, they have a different Unicode code, so they're treated differently by the software. Note that I didn't touch to the Hindi text.

Messed up

Hindi Wiki articles have been messed up many a things have been changed to this page needs to be deleted i had translated sandbox and everything has goone missing except now there is a deleted template and no one except me is there in hindi wiki and i use random page to get to pages and i got those and all have that therePurvitekriwal (talk) 04:26, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
