An Art Trade (commonly abbreviated as AT) is when two or more Scratchers exchange art for each other to use. Scratchers often give each other sprites, backdrops, and banners.
Example
Scratcher A comments on Scratcher B's profile asking to do an art trade. Scratcher B says yes, and they discuss what they would like the other person to draw for them. When they are done, both Scratchers either share the project with their part of the trade in it or add it to a project full of other art trades.
